Tennis is a sport that is played individually against one opponent or with two teams of two and each player uses their racket to hit a tennis ball over a net onto the opponent’s side of the court. The objective is for a player to hit the ball so that the opponent is unable to return it. It is played recreationally and competitively. It provides a complete body exercise, including increased cardiovascular and muscle strength. The tactical aspect of tennis keeps the mind challenged and focused.
